Roads & Highways Construction PROJECTS
🚧 Six-Lane National Highway Expansion – NH-48 Corridor
This project involved the upgrading of a 32 km stretch of NH-48 into a fully access-controlled six-lane highway. The work included widening of existing pavement, construction of service roads, and integration of modern traffic safety systems.
Key Scope of Work
- Earthwork, subgrade formation, and GSB/WMM layers
- PQC & DLC rigid pavement construction
- Construction of two major bridges and six minor bridges
- Installation of crash barriers, road signage & reflective markings
- Service road development and drainage improvement
- 3 toll plazas installation with automated FASTag system
Project Outcome
The upgraded corridor significantly reduced travel time, enhanced road safety, and improved freight movement efficiency between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
🚧 Urban Flyover Construction – City Ring Road Mobility Project
A 1.8 km long elevated flyover built to decongest one of the busiest intersections of the city. The project was executed under strict traffic management to ensure smooth public movement during construction.
Key Scope of Work
- Cast-in-situ reinforced concrete piers and pier caps
- Pre-stressed concrete girder installation using launching cranes
- 1.8 km elevated deck with crash barrier construction
- Approach road widening and utility shifting
- Street lighting, signage & road marking
- Final asphalt overlay and drainage system development
Project Outcome
The flyover reduced intersection congestion by more than 60% and improved peak-hour mobility across the urban ring road. The structure also enhances long-term urban connectivity while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
